Dr. James Furicchia, M.D. has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1999. Dr Furicchia received his bachelors at Kalamazoo College, majoring in Biology. Dr. Furicchia received his medical degree at Wayne State School of Medicine, graduating in the top 2 % of his class. Dr. Furicchia has been honored for his dedication and commitment and noted for being one of America’s top ophthalmologists.

As one of the most respected ophthalmologists and LASIK surgeons in the Toledo, Ohio area, Dr. Furi cchia was Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Anne Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio from 1996 to 2003.
